Peggy White My Work begins by rummaging through an inventory of classic imagery. I’m frequently going through boxes of vintage paraphernalia and snapping photographs for inspiration. Even now I find a trip back home to be a useful addition to studio practice. The act of making allows me to filter out the present; both a comfort and necessity. Through the use of simple shape, line, texture, and materials my work evokes the memories of when I saw the world in a less complicated way.
