William Fisher As a critique of the mechanisms of cultural domination, Fisher’s work aims to subvert the tools of hegemony. Recent experiments in shared authorship examine quantification of the individual and identity, cults of the intellect and the expert, and the cynicism of Empire. The piece is exhibited to show both sides of the work, recto and verso. It is illustrative of the kind of conflict of values and social disconnect that leads to a catostrophic world view and tacit approval of national policies repugnant to those who support diplomacy, rational solutions, and peace.
