Ellie Honl Psychological disorders, specifically the irrational thought and behavior that accompanies them is a strong theme in my work. Depression and anxiety disorders cause people to perceive things differently – usually to their detriment. This work of art alludes to these skewed perceptions and the desire of one afflicted to comprehend the accepted view of reality by providing a “seeing” device or lens to authentic experience. |
