Ernesto Gómez
 Bio

Ernesto R. Gómez grew up in Highland, Michigan. He received his Associates Degree in Graphic Arts from Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan in 1995, and his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1997. Primarily, his work utilizes sound to create environments, but sculpture has always been the underlying theme. Ernesto incorporates everyday objects into his work with the intention of redirecting their purpose by bringing them to the forefront to confront the viewer. His work has shown throughout the United States and Europe. Ernesto lives in Milledgeville, GA with his wife Emily.
